It began with one green silk scarf, dyed at a kitchen sink for a small boy who wanted to be Peter Pan. Three decades on, Sarah's Silks still hand-dyes pure silk into playsilks that become capes, rivers, and forts in equal measure – rooted in Waldorf philosophy and a simple belief that the best toys ask nothing of a child except imagination.
